(Stadler) Baltus, age 82 of Marshfield, died Sunday May 20, 2012 at Golden Living Center Three Oaks, with her loving family at her side and under the tender care of Asera Care Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Zecherle, Daniel Baltus, Nick Nugent, Pat Nugent, Joe Baltus and Ron Fischer, who is representing his son Craig Fischer who died June 24, 2001. Visitation will be held from 4-8:00PM Wednesday at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 E. Veterans Parkway, Marshfield and from 9:30 until service time at the church on Thursday. Clara was born March 11, 1930 in Marshfield, the daughter of Joseph and Eldora (Specht) Stadler. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School and graduated with the class of 1948 from Marshfield Senior High. In 1951 Clara graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. On November 10, 1951 Clara was united in holy marriage to Vernon F. Baltus at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2011. Mrs. Baltus was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Clara is lovingly survived by her husband, Vernon Baltus, Marshfield, Children, Elizabeth Bertram, Marshfield, Karen (Ron) Fischer, Marshfield, Karl (Kim) Baltus, Minocqua, WI, John Baltus, Marshfield, Janet Nugent, Plover, Frank (Lisa) Baltus, Pittsville, Mary (Pryor) Wilson, College Station, TX and Jim (Jay Warner) Baltus, Jefferson, WI. Grandchildren, Amy Bertram, Laura (Mitch) Kibbel, Julie Bertram, Kari Fischer, Leslie Baltus, Daniel Baltus, Adam (Elisa) Zecherle, Nicholas Nugent, Patrick Nugent, Joseph Baltus, Mary Kate Wilson and Sara Wilson and great grandchildren, Meghan, Jenna and Abigail Kibbel, Hailey Baltus, Naomi and Dylan Zecherle further survive Clara. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eldora Stadler, brother, Joseph Stadler, daughter, Nancy on Nov. 3, 1976 and daughter Suzanne on April 16, 2004 and a grandson, Craig Fischer
