Thérèse Duval Chouinard 1922 - 2017 At the Montmagny Hospital, on May 7, 2017, at the age of 94 years and 10 months, Mrs. Thérèse Duval, wife of the late Mr. Henri-Joseph Flavien Chouinard, passed away. She lived in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. She was the mother of: Jean-Louis (Judith Douville), Marie (late Normand Harrington), Martin, late Estelle (Pierre Beaumier), Gisèle, Francine (Benoît Gagnon), Jeanne (Raymond Caron), Louise (Langis Gamache). She also leaves to mourn Mrs. Francine Beaudry; his grandchildren: Mathieu, Marie-Pierre, Vincent Chouinard and Benoît Douville, Geneviève and Véronique Harrington, Eugénie Chouinard Beaumier, Tamara, Louis-Gabriel and Larissa Corriveau, Alexandre, Madeleine and Matéo Chouinard Gagnon, Alexis and Marie-Neige Caron, Naomi and An Mei Chouinard Gamache and her 11 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister-in-law of: Denise Bourgault (late Guy Chouinard). Also affected by his departure are several cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Sincere thanks are addressed to Johanne Caron, Yvette Caron, Carole Brisson, Nicole Mercier, Micheline Bernier and Thérèse Leblanc for their care and attention which enabled our mother to remain in her home. We are grateful to the staff of the CLSC de Saint-Jean-Port-Joli Home Support Service. The members of his family will welcome you at the funeral home De la Durantaye & Fils 4, ch. du Roy Ouest Saint-Jean-Port-Joli on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 9 a.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint-Jean-Port-Joli funeral home. His ashes will be placed later in the parish cemetery of Saint-Pamphile.
