Morris, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Wednesday from 9AM until 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed towards the American Cancer Society of the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bill was born November 22, 1926 in Ann Arbor the son of Mr. and Mrs. William E. and Gladys (Shampine) Duquette. He married Paula Williams on March 15, 1952 in Flint. William served in the U.S. Navy as a Fireman First Class during WWII. He worked for General Motors at Buick City in vehicle shuttle, retiring in 1987. Surviving are his wife, Paula, son, William Edward Duquette, brother, James Lewis Duquette, mother-in-law, Olive May Morgan, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jenny L. Cox (Larry), Patty J. Coleman (Jerry), Mage I. Stevenson (John), Florence A. Eagly (Terry), Junior Dearduff (Charlene), Cecile Valesquy (Danny), Helen Valesquy, Bridget Morgan, Roseann Morgan and William C. Morgan (Helen), many nieces, nephews and friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law, John, Jack, Russell, Charles and Ed Morgan and father-in-law, Willard Isaac Dearduff.
