Died:
- Harold M. "Arch" Fisher, 74, Springfield, died in his home Friday evening.
He was born March 25, 1916, in lola, Kan.
Mr. Fisher was a flight officer and served as a glider pilot in the U.S. Army in Central Europe during World War II.
He retired from James R. Kearney Corp. on June 1,1968, after 35 years of service. Arch will be remembered for his love of flying and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine E. Fisher and three brothers, Carl Fisher, Hugh King Fisher and Sylvester James Fisher.
He Is survived by two daughters, Sharon J. Deal and Shirley L. Todd, both of Springfield; a sister, Clotiel Fisher, St. Louis; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Veda Burgess.
Graveside services with full military rites will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Springfield National Cemetery under direction of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
