Ronald DeMoura Sr. age 76, passed away in his home on February 26, 2021 while surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Ronald is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet (Gamache) DeMoura of Taunton. Ronald was born in Taunton, the son of the late George DeMoura. He was born and raised in Taunton and attended Taunton schools. He retired from Plymouth County Mosquito Control after working as a tool maker and machinist for many years prior. Ronald mostly enjoyed his family while skiing, hunting, scuba diving and going to the casino were some of the many hobbies he loved to do. Ronald spent over 27 years tending bar at McGrath's Cafe Bar in Taunton while creating a lifetime of memories. Ronald is survived by his children; Ronald DeMoura Jr. and his wife Patricia (Dias) of Seekonk, MA, Steven DeMoura and wife Sherry (Szczepkowski) of Lakeville, his grandchildren; Kailey DeMoura, Cameron DeMoura, Alex DeMoura, Olivia DeMoura and Veronica DeMoura. A private graveside service will be held due to the Covid-19 Virus. Arrangements are under the care of the OKeefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
