  [S2] Obituary. Linda Baker Ross passed away on September 16 at age 72. She moved to Broward County from Atlanta in 1981 and taught elementary school in the county for 30 years. She was intelligent, funny, kind and compassionate; an inspiration to her students as well as to her co-workers. Another star is shining in heaven. She's survived by her loving husband Richard who she was married to for 42 years, a brother Stanley, nephew Brian and niece Karen. Memorial service is October 8, 3:15 P.M. at Star of David Funeral Home, 7701 Bailey Rd., North Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers send donations to American Cancer Society.
