  [S5] Obituary. MCGOWAN, JOSEPH Granby January 20, 2021 BESSETTE & FILS FUNERAL HOME INC. At Hôtel-Dieu de Sherbrooke, on January 20, 2021, at the age of 86, passed away Mr. Joseph McGowan, husband of the late Mrs. Lucille Descelles Gamache, residing in Waterloo. Mr. McGowan was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his nephews, nieces and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Primevert residence in Waterloo as well as Dre Chagnon for the good care provided. The cremation took place in Granby at the Jardins Funéraires Bessette crematorium. In view of the current circumstances, the funeral as well as the burial in the Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford cemetery have been postponed to a later date. A future publication will keep you informed of the details when the time comes. In sympathy, a donation to the Société Alzheimer Granby et région would be appreciated.
