Arthur Gamash was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on April 14, 1921, and passed away peacefully with his family by his side November 28, 2017.
During World War II, Art served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as an instrument repairman on B-17, B-24 and P-51 Mustang aircraft. After the war he graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1955 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Art was a member of the Sequim Valley Car Club and the Oldsmobile Club of America. He had many happy times touring in classic cars with his beloved wife Trudy.
Art worked for five years with IBM in New York then moved to Seattle and worked for Boeing until his retirement.
While at Boeing, his projects included the B-1 Bomber, ground support for the Apollo Moon program and the AWACS.
Time spent with family was cherished, whether it was camping trips and ball games with his sons, Nutcracker ballet with his daughter, playing cards with his granddaughters or Angry Birds with his great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice; his father, Arthur; his sisters, Grace and Lois; and his wife, Trudy.
He is survived by his three sons, a daughter, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
