In Loving Memory of
Jean-Guy Ouellette
1942 ~ 2013
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Jean-Guy Ouellette at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital on September 8 th , 2013 at the age of 71. He leaves in mourning his wife Shirley (née Sicard) and his children Claude (Line Beauchamp) of Kapuskasing, Michel (Marie-Claude Petit) of Gatineau, Joanne (Dean) McGee of Timmins, Hélène (Raymond) Ouellette-Kuntz of Kingston and Benoit (Ginette Boisvert) of Barrie.
Jean-Guy was the grandfather of Miguel, Corey, Kayla, Pascale, Shawna, Eddie, Zoé, Arnaud, Maxim, and Loïc, and great-grandfather of Finn.
He also leaves in mourning his siblings: Lucie (late Albert) Labonté, Denise (late Paul-Henri) Tremblay, Lucien (Huguette), Rita (Noël) Lavoie, Diane (Fernand) Tremblay, Yves (Denise), André, Denis ( Suzanne), and his brother-in-law Léo Gamache, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jean-Guy is predeceased by his parents Gérard Ouellette and Alberta (née Grenier), and his sister Gisèle (Léo Gamache).
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3 rd degree and of the Golden Age Club. He liked to play or watch curling and enjoyed to have his coffee with the gang.
A memorial mass will be held at the Ste-Gertrude Church in Smooth Rock Falls at 10:30 am on Friday, September 13 th , 2013 with Father Richard Fortin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
