LANG, ROBERTA E. Roberta E. Lang, beloved wife of Allan Lang of Branford, died Friday at CT Hospice in Branford. She was born June 11, 1944 in Norwood, MA, a daughter of the late Robert and Irene Taylor Hummer. She had worked as a receptionist for Dr.'s Pellegrino and Petrelli in Branford for many years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Lang was a member of the United Methodist Church in Branford, and belonged to the UMW at the church. She volunteered at the Guilford House and also belonged to the Riverdale Homemakers. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Michael (Tabitha) Lang of Northford, and Robert (Tina) Lang of Branford; her grandchildren, Dylan, Maisy, Willow, Silas and Chloe; her sisters, Jan Gamache of Winchester, NH and Marcia Donnelly of Branford; and her father-in-law, Adam Lang of East Haven. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Weicker and her sisters, Jeanne Polio and Judy LaBanca. Relatives and friends are may call Monday evening from 4 - 8 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, and are invited to a funeral service Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the United Methodist Church, Branford. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Branford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Learn and Play Daycare, c/o United Methodist Church, 811 East Main St., Branford, CT 06405.
