Eva Mae DiDomizio
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother and friend, Eva Mae (Barre) DiDomizio on April 12, 2015.
Eva would have celebrated her 73rd birthday on May 20th. She was born in Waterbury, CT in 1942. She was the daughter of the late Aurele Barre and the late Alice (Gamache) Barre Caliento. She was also predeceased by her step father Joseph Caliento.
Eva was a graduate of Croft High School in Waterbury, CT. She worked in the banking industry and later employed by SNET, where she worked in the customer service department for many years.
Eva had a zest for living and was very active. She enjoyed traveling, country line dancing, playing bingo and singing karaoke. Eva was a seasoned shopper who always knew where to find awesome treasures. She was quite a character and her personality was larger than life. She truly enjoyed making memories with her grandchildren.
Eva was survived by her loving children: Kari DiBiaso and her husband, John of Estero, FL, Melanie Tice and her husband, Chris of Oakville and Dean DiDomizio of Waterbury, step-daughter; Illona Fitzgerald of Brookfield, grandchildren; Matthew, Krisa, Erik, Alexa, Jayden, Evan and Bradley, brothers; Lewis Barre and his wife, Patricia of Woodbury, Wayne Caliento and his wife Phyllis of Vero Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, Bernard DiDomizio.
Arrangements: A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
