Patricia Savola
Gladstone - Patricia (Smith, Pepin) Savola, age 66, of Gladstone passed away Saturday evening, November 16, 2019 at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers, Michigan, following a lengthy battle with dementia.
Patricia was born December 27, 1952 in Escanaba, MI, the daughter of William and Louise (Gamache) Smith Sr. She worked as a seamstress and was the owner and operator of PMW Tailoring in Appleton, WI and Denim and Lace in Escanaba. Patricia was united in marriage to Leslie " Sonny" Savola in 2013. She enjoyed spending time with her family and pets, gardening, crafting, sewing and cooking.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Sonny of Gladstone, daughter, Ramona Pepin (Patrick) Rogers of Black Creek, WI; siblings, Bill (Bonnie) Smith Jr. of Escanaba, Robert (Barbara) Smith of Escanaba, Diane (David) Lambert of Gladstone, Mike (Elisa) Smith of Kaukauna, WI and Mary (Josh) Dawson of Gladstone, step-children, Mark Savola, Amy (Brian) Peltin, Andy Savola, Doyle "Jeff" Savola and Stacey Savola and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard "Rick" D. Pepin, her parents and her nephew, Steven Michael Smith.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
Patricia's family would like to thank the staff of Sunny Shores AFC in Gladstone, the Gary Abrahamson Jr. Memory Care Center in Escanaba and the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, 2nd Floor Special Care Unit in Powers for their kind and compassionate care.
