Deceased Name: LUCILLE SCHINDLER
BRADFORD -- Lucille Schindler, 85, of Bradford died at 10:52 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Perry Memorial Hospital in
Princeton.
Born Feb. 6, 1913, in Wyoming, Ill., to Charles and Ethel Martin Sturm, she married Charles E. Schindler on Jan. 4, 1933, in Peoria. He died Jan. 23, 1985. One brother also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Charles of Kirkland and Paul of Waukesha, Wis.; five daughters, Mrs. George (Joanne) Gamache of San Angelo, Texas, Mrs. Roger (Jeanne) Harris of Wauwatosa, Wis., Mrs.
Jim (Grace) Swearingen and Mrs. Gary (Nora) Hughes, both of Bradford, and Mrs. LaVerne (Judy) Harris of Princeton; two brothers, James Sturm of Peoria and Chuck Sturm of Bradford; one sister, Ruth Whisker of Bradford; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She operated Schindler's Market for many years and worked at Bradford High School cafeteria for 20 years. She was a member of Leet Memorial United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at her church. The Rev.
Patricia Allin will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Johnson-Dunlap Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Osceola Grove Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to her church or Bradford Rescue Squad.
