Henrietta C. Ruhl SPRING GARDEN TOWNSHIP Henrietta C. Ruhl, 95, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2005, at Rest Haven-York. Born December 23, 1909, in York, a daughter of the late John I. and Josephine (Crull) Fissel, she was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School and the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music. She was a retired practical nurse having been employed by the Barley's Nursing Homes for 17 years. She was profoundly dedicated to her family and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Ruhl is survived by a daughter, Margot E. Thiebauth of York; two granddaughters, Jennifer Gamache and her husband Emmett of St. Louis, Mo., and their son Jacob, and Jane O'Brien and her husband Kevin of Atlanta, Ga., and their daughter Kelly Houck; a brother, John W. Fissel and his wife Jean of York, and their sons Jay and Jack. She is also survived by a son, Henry J. Ruhl and his family. Private funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, with burial in Greenmount Cemetery. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc. (formerly Baumeister, Orcutt & Small), 863 South George Street, York is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Patient Activity Fund of Rest Haven-York, 1050 South George Street, York, PA 17403.
