  [S5] Obituary. Venita M. (Frenier) Lavoie, 90, of Attleboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Wingate of Norton. She was the former wife of the late Maurice Lavoie. Venita was born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late Henry and Edwidge (Gamache) Frenier. She was a graduate of Attleboro High School class of 1945. Venita began working as as secretary for the Balfour Company for a few years. Mrs. Lavoie then worked at the former Saint Stephen?s Church and Cemetery office for twenty-one years, retiring in 1997. She was a Marion Recipient, a past officer of the Women?s Guild, was active with several prayer groups at La Salette Shrine and a tireless advocate for pro life. Venita enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends, especially her grand and great grandchildren. Survivors are a daughter: Lynn Gallagher and her companion Sam Janoudi of Pawtucket; three sons: Allan R. Lavoie and his wife Andrea of Norton; Steven L. Lavoie and his wife Mary Ellen of Attleboro; Gary M. Lavoie and his companion Elise D? Antonio of Attleboro; twenty-six grandchildren; and thirty-six great grandchildren;:two sisters: Connie Vincent and Pauline Macomber both of Attleboro; along with several nieces and nephews: a son in law: Thomas Roy of Attleboro. She was the mother of Maureen Roy and sister of the late Leona Frenier and Adele Wagle. Her Funeral Service will be held from the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Saint Stephens Cemetery, Attleboro MA
