Dautrich, 65, of Southington, died Tuesday, Aug. 15 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of 26 years of Priscilla "Pat" (Cournoyer) Dautrich. He was born March 16, 1941 in Winsted, the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Clarke) Dautrich, and attended school there. Mr. Dautrich had been a Southington resident for more than 40 years and was a retired surveyor. He loved woodworking, fishing and spending time with his friends. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Kelly and Kenneth Gamache, Karin Lavine and Randall Dautrich; his daughter-in-law, Monica; and three grandchildren, Wade, Dylan and Callan Gamache. He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Gillette. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family. Della Vecchia Funeral Home, Southington, is assisting with arrangements.
