PHILIP GAMACHE OBITUARY
Philip L. Gamache 1946 - 2022 East Longmeadow Philip L. Gamache, 76, of East Longmeadow passed on July 16th with his family at his side. He was born in Springfield to the late Armand and Helen (Csigas) Gamache on July 12th, 1946. Philip was a 1965 graduate of Tech High, where he was an avid athlete playing on the football and wrestling teams and was a member of the crew team. Philip later worked for Yankee Spirit as a warehouse manager. He enjoyed fishing, watching documentaries, and invented several gadgets to help around the house. After retirement, traveling became another favorite past time including visiting 42 out of 50 states, enjoying shows at the Ogunquit Playhouse, and the Majestic Theatre. Philip's love for life, and sense of humor, excellent cooking, and love for a good time will also be missed by his family and friends. Philip was a loving husband and wonderful father to his three children. He is survived by his dear wife Joyce Gamache; his children Jeremy Gamache of Orlando FL, Kimberly Crinella and her husband Michael of Hawaii, and Claudine Gaj and her husband Christopher of Belchertown. He also leaves is brother Ronald Gamache and his wife Carol of Westfield; and his grandchildren Jordan Gaj, Savannah Gamache, and Andre Gamache. Memorial contributions are kindly directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital- 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
