Portland Press Herald (ME) - Thursday, May 13, 1999 Deceased Name: MARIE LOUISE GAMACHE BRUNSWICK NATIVE Marie Louise Gamache, 98, died Tuesday at d'Youville Pavillion, where she had been a resident for the past six weeks. She was born in Brunswick and moved to Canada with her parents. She returned to Brunswick in 1930. Mrs. Gamache was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed garderning and sewing. Her husband, J. Ernest Gamache, died Aug. 7, 1964. A stepson, Ernest A. Gamache, died April 30, 1976, and a stepdaughter, Rita H. Levesque, died July 26, 1998. Surviving are two sisters, Simone Berube of St. Alexandre, Quebec, and Juliette Marquis of Val-d'Or, Quebec. Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Demers-Demond Funeral Home, 34 Cushing St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
