James was born in Antlers, Oklahoma, the son of Charles Harold and Edith (Roebuck) Hendricks. He served in US Air Force durinh WWII. James was an over the road driver and a member of the Teamsters Union Local #696, Topeka, KS. He and his wife Cecile were involved in the Flea Market Industry in Topeka sence early 1980s. He married Cecile R. Gamache on July 7, 1942 in Dover, Deleware, she preceded him in death March 5, 2006. Other survivors 5 daughters, 13 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren and 1 brother. services be held May 23, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetary.
