Lafontaine Gérard The Lafontaine family regrets to announce the death of Mr. Gérard Lafontaine who died on January 27, 2018 at the CHSLD in Petite-Nation at the age of 95. He was the beloved husband of the late Jeannine Hotte and the son of the late Elzéar Lafontaine and the late Marie-Rose St-Jean. He is survived by his three children: Ghislain (Francine Hotte), Pierre (Francine Gamache) and Luc (late Christine Charron). He was the beloved grandfather of Bruno, Patrick, Nadia, Karine, Kevin as well as Emma's great-grandfather, Jérémi, Léa-Rose, Jacob, Hugo, Marylou and Marley. Survived by his brother Maurice (late Suzanne Modery). He was predeceased by his 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He also leaves many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins ??and friends. The family will receive your condolences at the L'Outaouais Funeral Cooperative located at 526 Patrice Street, St-André-Avellin, on Friday, February 16th from 7 pm to 10 pm. The religious service will be held at St-Casimir Church, Ripon, 17 rue Major, on Saturday, February 17, at 1:30 pm. The family will be present at 1:00 pm to receive the condolences. Your marks of sympathy can result in a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Quebec. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Château St-André residence as well as the second floor staff of the CHSLD for their good care.
