Valin Proulx, Jacqueline 1924 - 2018 At the age of 94, Mrs. Jacqueline Valin, beloved wife of the late Mr. Georges Proulx, passed away on March 7, 2018 at the age of 94 years. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Alma Simoneau and the late Mr. Blaise Valin. She lived in Quebec. The family will receive condolences, in the presence of the body, at St-Charles Funeral Center 1420, Wilfrid-Hamel Boulevard Québec, G1N 3Y6 on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00. A liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at the salon the same day at 11am. The planting will follow at the Saint-Charles cemetery. She is survived by her children: Jacqueline, Françoise (Yoland Gagné), Georges-Élie (Annette Gamache), Jean-Marc (Murielle Huard), Diane and the late Marie-Lise; his grandchildren: Éric (Isabelle Larouche), Jean-François (Johanne Langevin), Marc (Christiane Bertrand), Julie (Michel Côté), Olivier (Élise Bérubé) and Maxime (Stéphanie Marois); his great-grandchildren: Samuel, Gabrielle, Marc-Anthony, Felix, Rosalie, Florence, Marie-Jeanne, Ariane, Gabriel and Chloe; his brothers and sisters: Thérèse (late Alphonse Racine), Gabrielle (Jacques Dubois) and Denis (Denise Reed); as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
