• Notes

  Another Pierre de Gamaches, named a Squire, head of "The Chaste of St. Jean d'Angely and of the Pont de Xaintes. In one receipt, he had procured May 28, 1439 the sum of 600 pounds annually, ordered by the King for him and his wife as a pension. His title is divided to the 1st and 4th Gamaches, to the 2cd and 3rd, nothing. He was given another pension October 8, 1443, the same size which he willed in the summer to Marie de Fescamp, his mother, for living and incidental expenses. Willed it by letters to the King dated at St. Jean d'Angely the 7th of March, 1437.
