Mary Mohar
Mary Mohar, age 59, of Sheboygan, died on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born in Stanley, WI on October 22, 1954, the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Nendza Tomczak.
Mary attended local schools in the Clark County. On September 20, 1975, she was united in marriage to Daniel Mohar in Sheboygan Falls. Mary was primarily a homemaker but she also did childcare and was employed at Rolie Laundry and she was involved in the family carpentry business "Mohar Carpentry".
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking, baking, writing poetry and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Mohar; son, Ben Mohar, both of Sheboygan; daughter, Leah (Brian) Davis, of Germany; three grandchildren, Alana, Colt and Edie Davis; a sister, Gene (Jim) Beck; her six brothers, Jerry (Mary), Mike (Kitty), Al (Jo), B.J., Don and Ron Tomczak. Mary is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Abel Mohar, a brother, Clarence Tomczak and an infant brother, Johnny.
A gathering to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014, from 1:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. at the Black River Advancement Association Hall, 435 Indian Mound Rd, Town of Wilson.
Mary's family would like to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for the compassion and care that was given to her. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Mary's name.
