Obituary of Frank Anthony Horzen
Francis (Frank) Anthony Horzen, age 77, born 12/30/1942 in Spring Valley, Illinois, passed away 9/11/2020 at his home in Rialto, California where he lived for the last 34 years.
Frank married the love of his life, Barbara, in 1986. He will truly be missed by those countless lives he?s touched. He is survived by his wife Barbara of Rialto, California, his children Stephanie McKinley (San Diego, CA), Andrew Horzen (Beaumont, CA), Amanda Ainsworth (Escondido, CA), Zoe Horzen (Portland, OR), Jonathan Horzen (San Ysidro, CA), Matthew Horzen (Perris, CA), Sara Horzen (Rialto, CA), Christopher Horzen (Rialto, CA), and 13 amazing grandchildren.
After his military service he worked at Kaiser Steel as a laborer for 23 years and City of Fontana as a maintenance worker for 20.
Frank served in the Air Force from 1962-1966 where he was deployed in the Vietnam War. Several of his fellow service members have remained life long friends. His greatest joys was his passion for his model railroad trains, any time with his family, and volunteering when and where it was needed.
Frank loved the Lord and was a hero to all of us.

Born 12/30/1942 in Illinois, Frank spent most of his upbringing in Fontana, attending St. Joseph?s Catholic School, then Fontana High School, graduating in 1960. Frank worked for Kaiser Steel for 23 years and the City of Fontana for 20 more. He served in the Air Force and did a tour in Vietnam. He was a proud veteran.
Frank married the love of his life Barbara in 1986. They raised eight wonderful children, Stephanie McKinley, Andrew Horzen, Amanda Ainsworth (Chris), ZoAnne Horzen, Jonathan Horzen, Matthew Horzen, Sara Horzen and Christopher Horzen. He had 13 grandchildren.
Frank?s wonderful laugh and smile will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He was the best husband and father a family could ask for.
