MILLBURY, Nov. 27 ? Sgt. Daniel Brewer, 21, an Army paratrooper was killed in action in Opheusden, Holland Oct. 13, according to a telegram received tonight from the War Department by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aime H. Gamache of 18 Sycamore street.
Sgt. Brewer enlisted Aug. 7, 1942, and went overseas in June, 1943. He was employed at the Millbury plant of the Hayward-Schuster Woolen Mills at the time of his enlistment.
He was reported seriously wounded June 7 in France, but had recovered and rejoined his outfit Army Company B, 1st Battalion, 506 PIR, 101st Airborne in August.
