Mr. André Deschatelets of Saint-André-Avellin, originally from Lac-Simon, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Tender husband of the late Lucie Gamache; son of the late Omer Deschatelets and the late Lucie Pilon. He was the beloved father of Jacques (Lucie Bois); the dear brother of Lucille Deschatelets; and the dear friend of Marquise Barnes and Réjeanne Riopel. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. He also survives several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. The family invites family and friends to the Shields Berthiaume Petite-Nation Family Funeral Complex, 101 Main Street, St-André-Avellin, Quebec, (819) 983-6616, Saturday, January 6, 2018, starting at 10 am The funeral will be held in the chapel of the funeral complex on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11 am. Burial at St-Félix-de-Valois Cemetery in Chénéville at a later date. A special thank you to the entire team at the Residence Le Monarque for the excellent care provided to Mr. Deschatelets.
