At the Grand-Portage Regional Hospital Center, on February 6, 2025, at the age of 94 years and 9 months, passed away Mrs. Marcelle Gamache, wife of the late Mr. Paul-Émile Proulx, daughter of the late Mr. Charles Gamache and the late Mrs. Marie-Louise Lévesque. She resided in Rivière-du-Loup.
The family will receive condolences at 169 rue Lafontaine Rivière-du-Loup on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A farewell ceremony will be held the same day at 2 p.m. in the memorial room of the funeral home. Burial at the Saint-Ludger cemetery will take place at a later date.
She is survived by her children: Céline (Conrad Landry), Louise (Michel Nadeau), Joanne (Yvan Belzile) and Yves; her grandchildren and their spouses: the late Caroline, François, Jean-Philip, Christine, Maxim and Alexandre; her great-grandchildren: Noémy, Raphaël, Lysianne, Gabriel, Félix and Nora; her sisters: Anne-Marie (the late Philippe), Carmelle (Georges) and Huguette (the late Elphège).
Also affected by her passing are many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends of the Gamache and Proulx families.
The family would like to thank the healthcare staff at the Pavillon des Cèdres and the Grand-Portage Regional Hospital for the quality of care provided to Mrs. Gamache.
