  [S5] Obituary. Pouliot Paul-Émile 1922 - 2007 ?I prefer tomatoes on my table to diamonds around my neck. On September 20, 2007, at the Foyer des Vétérans (CHUL) in Quebec City, passed away Mr. Paul-Émile Pouliot in his 86th year, veteran from 1939 to 1945, husband of Lady Alexandra Gamache and son of the late Stanislas Pouliot and the late Lady Fernande Blouin. He is survived by his wife, his son Bernard Pouliot. He was the father of the late Denys Pouliot, who died in Lausanne, Switzerland, on July 16, 2005 (Maria Alzira Ferreira-Pouliot). He is also survived by his granddaughter Alexandra Salgueiro-Pouliot; his sisters Gemma (Léonce Bruneau), Cécile (late Jean-Robert Dion); his brother André (Nicole Gagnon); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Gamache family as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. He went to join his brothers: Fernand (Madeleine Cadorette), Louis-George (Émilienne Belleau) and Pierre-Luc. The family will receive condolences in the presence of the ashes at the Center Funéraire de l'Anse 280, 8th Street, Quebec on Saturday September 29, 2007 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the living room the same day at 3 p.m. Interment will then take place in St. Charles Cemetery. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of the Foyer des Vétérans for their welcome as well as all of Mr. Pouliot's friends for their support.
