  [S5] SSDI. Niagara Gazette PHYLLIS V. (AZEN) MAZANKA Phyllis V. Mazanka, 75, of Niagara Falls, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Mt. St. Mary?s Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mazanka was born April 6, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Harry and Fannie (Hotner) Azen. She moved to this area in 1953. She formerly worked for American Rubber. She enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid bingo player. She was the wife of Frank Mazanka, who predeceased her in October 1999. She is survived by two sons, Frank Mazanka of Van Dyne, WI and Jerry Mazanka of Newfane, and five grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Cindy Mazanka. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were made by the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC.
