Barbara Gamache
February 13, 1954 - October 29, 2019
Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her smile.
Barbara Ruth Due Gamache, age 65, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 with her family and friends by her side in Webster, Texas. Barbara was born on February 13, 1954 in Houston, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin, Texas.
Barbara was a dedicated mother. She loved her family, grandbabies and Dr. Pepper. She embraced every moment with them and especially loved her role as for years she was lovingly referred to as Ms. Barbara by many. She had a heart of gold and was the best listener. Friends, family and strangers alike were drawn to her and able to open up about anything because she would offer valuable support and insight. If you told her to have a good day, you could bet that she would reply with, ?You have a better one!?. When saying goodbye to those that she loved she would say, ?I love you more!? and if you argued, she?d finish by saying ?I?m bigger!? and leave you with a smile.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Grady Due Sr., her mother Ruth Hart Due, and her brother, Grady Due, Jr.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Chuck Gamache; daughters, Raasha Stinson, Ashley Moore, Brandi Hinckley and husband Tom, and Hannah Gamache; son, Samuel Gamache; sister Hedy Minter and husband Hal Coffman; brother, Dan Due and wife Carol; sister-in-law, Ester Due; grandchildren, Wyatt, Violet, Madelyn, Addison, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home.
