Deceased Name: Victoria Pagliarulo
Victoria "Birdie" (Fobert) Pagliarulo of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, died June 11, 2008, in her 90th year.
Mrs. Pagliarulo was a member of East Boston High School, Class of 1935.
She was the beloved wife of John L. Pagliarulo, with whom she had shared 61 years of marriage.
She also leaves her children, John of New York, Paul of Saugus and his dear friend, Fran Slowe, of Somerville, George and his wife, Michele, of New Hampshire, Lynda of Revere, and James and his wife, Cheryl, of Bradford.
She was the sister of Jean Gleason of Saugus, Alfred "Al" Fobert of Onset, and the late Josephine O'Conner, Angelica Zollo, Alfredo, Leo, Roy and Dr. Rudy Fobert, Ph.D.; grandmother of Jason and Laura Gamache, Nicholas and Thomas; and great-grandmother of Tyler, Olivia and Rowan.
Her funeral was held June 14 from Vazza "Beechwood" Funeral Home of Revere, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St Margaret's Church, Saugus. Interment was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Mrs. Pagliarulo's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140.
