Frederic A. Grenier Jr. of Delran passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Virtua Hospital, Mount Holly. He was 75.
He was born in Warwick, R.I.
He was employed for 22 years with the Trenton Naval Air Propulsion Testing Center in Trenton.
Frederic was a member of the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Newfoundland in the 1960s. He retired from the Air Force in 1995.
He was an active member of the Saint John Neumann Council 1436 of Delran, and was the faithful custodian of the council home for several years.
He was a member of the John Tatham Assembly of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, and member of the Color Corp.
Frederic was the beloved husband of Patricia Gamache Grenier.
He was the loving father of Philip A. Grenier, at home; devoted brother of Georgette Schacklin of West Warwick, R.I., and uncle of Wade and Edward Congdon, also of Warwick.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m Wednesday at Saint Casimir's Church. Interment of cremains will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Friends of the family are cordially invited to share their thoughts, condolences and fond memories with the family at a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside. There will be no visitation on Tuesday evening.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Saint Casimir's Church, 502 New Jersey Ave., Riverside.
