It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Jean-Guy Gamache, which occurred on August 5, 2025 at the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis, at the age of 80 years and 4 months.
He left for his final journey, surrounded by the love of his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his partner of the past 25 years: Gisèle Comeau, his sons: the late Benoit and Denis as well as their mother Monique Morin; his grandchildren: Antoine and Olivier; his partner's children and grandchildren, his brothers and sisters: Yvon (Francine Morin), the late Michel (Nicole Pelletier), the late Yolande (Alain Morin) and Louise (the late Fernand Poitras); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Comeau and Morin families, as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, friends and his most faithful companion Charlot.
The family would like to thank the nurses, orderlies and doctors of the palliative care unit on the 7th floor of the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis as well as the CRIC staff for their great support, the dedication they have shown and the good care provided.
Your expressions of sympathy can be expressed by a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society .
The family will welcome you at the
