MAZZOLA, Columbus J. "Colby" Lifetime Newton resident, August 31, 2017. Beloved husband for 61 years to Lorraine (Gamache) Mazzola. Devoted father of: Lucille Barbato and her husband Donald of Watertown, Michelle Mazzola of Fall River. Loving grandfather of: Joseph Barbato of Somerville, David and Alicia Barbato and their canine companion Rocco of Norwood. Dear brother of: Danny "Hawk" Mazzola of Watertown and Carmella Mazzola of Newton and the late Austy Mazzola, Ann Scaltreto, Josephine Voner, Lawrence Mazzola, Nina Mazzola, Dorothy Mort, Mary Caira. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, NEWTON, Tuesday from 4-8PM and again Wednesday morning at 9:30AM, before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a 10:30AM Funeral Mass.
