- [S2] Obituary.
Virginia Ludin, born Virginia Astorino, of Carnegie, PA, daughter of the late Frank Astorino and Mary Astorino; and wife of the late Lester Ludin, passed away suddenly but peacefully, on January 28, 2016.
She was the sister of Rose Ciccola (Robert), Albert Astorino (Pat) and the late Anthony Astorino (Rose); mother of Gary D. Ludin, Esquire (Rhoda Albert); grandmother of Ali Ludin Parker, Esquire (Christopher J., Esquire) and Tessa Marie Ludin, MA; aunt to Judi Astorino, Joseph, Michael and Robert Ciccola, Mary Rose Martorano (Philip) and Anna Marie Ciccola (Edward Budinsky).
Grandma/Aunt Ginny/Mom lived a wonderful and fulfilling life. She cherished family above all else and loved and laughed every day. She especially loved cooking stuffed artichokes, pizzelles and lady locks, humming while sewing everything from curtains to Barbie doll clothes, dancing the jitterbug in any of her numerous pairs of shoes and eating chocolate and popcorn while watching Scarlett and Rhett in her favorite movie Gone With the Wind. It is especially difficult to endure the loss of one with such grace, charisma and spirit, the outpouring of sympathy has been so much appreciated.
