The Laplante family regrets to announce the death of Mr. Rolland Laplante who passed away on May 19, 2013 at the age of 89. Son of the late Ludger Laplante and the late Marie-Anna L'Italien, he was the husband of the late Simone Gamache. He is survived by his dear son Martin (Stella Dodon) of Russell; his three grandchildren Patrick, Joël, Françis and two great-granddaughters Emma and Abbie. He is the last of a family of seven children. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Lafleur Funeral Home & Chapel, 874 Notre-Dame Street, Embrun.
