COVINGTON ? Joyce A. Hardenbrook, 86, formerly of Covington, died at 10:12 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at the Otterbein Nursing Home of Lebanon.
She was born Oct. 17, 1930, in Piqua to the late Luther C. and Mary (Negley) Thomas. She married Reynold A. Hardenbrook May 24, 1952, in Reynoldsburg, he preceded her in death Oct. 15, 1999.
Survivors include, four daughters, Holly (William) Denlinger, of Piqua, Susan McKinney, of Lebanon, Amy (Robert) Gamache, of Aldie, Virginia, and Jennifer Hardenbrook, of Lebanon; two sons, Chris Hardenbrook, of Covington, and Jeff (Jill) Hardenbrook, of Dayton; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Stanley (Vivian) Thomas, of Sidney.
She was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Tomblison.
Mrs. Hardenbrook was a 1948 graduate of Piqua Central High School and attended Miami Jacobs College. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of the Piqua Church of the Brethren where she served as a Deaconess.
A service to honor her life will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home,. Piqua, with the Rev. Larry Tyner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
