MELANCON Roger - 1926-2009 At the Christ-Roi residential centre, on October 3, 2009, at the age of 83, passed away Mr. Roger Mélançon, spouse of Mrs. Claude Gamache. He lived in Quebec. A religious service will be celebrated, in the presence of the ashes, on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at St-Francois Xavier Church (2180, boul. Père Lelièvre, Quebec) where the family will receive condolences before the ceremony, from 1 p.m. He is survived by his spouse, his children: Sylvie (Réjean Allard), Richard (Lucie Gauvin), his grandchildren: Stéphanie, Martin, Marie-Pier, Catherine; his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Monique, Rita, Gisèle (Jacques De la Roche), Denise, Gilles (Jessy), Claude (Pierrette Prud'Homme), Réal (Aline Lantin), Hélène (Jocelyn Letellier ), Louisa. He was also the brother of the late Maurice and the late Claire. He also leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Gamache family: Jean-Yves (Jeannine Richard), Normande, Gilles, Lise (Anicet Laflamme), Chantal (Gilles Savard) and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Special thanks are addressed to the staff of the 3rd Notre-Dame of Laval Hospital for the excellent care provided between February and September 2009.
