  Attorney Died: With love and remembrance, we honor the life of Jon Friedman, who passed away at the age of 90. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late David and Yetta Friedman (later Amper), Jon was a devoted husband to Judy for 67 cherished years and a wonderful father to Richard (Sandy), Robert (Jill), and Lori (Michael). He was a beloved grandfather to Adam (Lauren), Daniel (Jordan), Matthew, Marleigh, Jason, and Jake, and a proud great-grandfather to Colin and Benjamin. Jon graduated from Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh Law School. He practiced law in his hometown. His passions included family, sports, economics, and history, and he delighted in sharing jokes and playing bridge. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832. Shiva will be observed on Tuesday, November 12, at beginning at 6:30 pm with a service at 7:30pm, at 8763 Sage Brush Way, Columbia, MD 21045, and the family will also receive condolences on Wednesday, November 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Riderwood in the Sunroom, Rose Court, level four.
