Deceased Name: Cumberland GISELE T. GAMACHE
GISELE T. GAMACHE, 76, of 50 Sherman Ave., a cataloguer at Grace Holmes Co. for 10 years, retiring in 1973, died yesterday at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, after an illness. She was the wife of the late Normand T. Gamache Sr.
Born in St. Valerien, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Amedee and Aurore (Gilbert) Guy, she had lived in Woonsocket most of her life before she moved to Cumberland a year ago.
Mr. Gamache was a communicant of St. Ann Church.
She leaves a daughter, Suzanne Borozny of Cumberland, with whom she lived; a son, Normand T. Gamache Jr. of Millville, Mass.; a brother, Ulysses Guy of Woonsocket; six sisters, Jeannette Fontaine and Estelle Guy, both of Woonsocket, Yolande Brothers and Aline Fluette, both of Bellingham, Mass., Sister Lilian Guy, RJM, of West Warwick and Bernadette Forget of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Roland, Aurelien, Leandre, Hilaire and Amedee Guy Jr., Jean Paul and Laurent Guy and the Rev. Jules Guy, OMI.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from The Lauzon Memorial, 85 Rathbun St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Ann Church, Cumerland Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
