  [S5] Obituary. - Lorraine (Landry) Gamache, 86, of Nashua died Friday March 4, 2011 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Mrs. Gamache was born in Nashua, September 17, 1924, daughter of the late Sylvio and Marie (Peno) Landry. She was the wife of the late Leo Gamache who died on August 30, 2002 and married on May 28, 1948. Lorraine had been a lifelong resident of Nashua and had been educated in local schools. During World War II she worked at Nashua Corporation in the raincoat division making ponchos for the soldiers. Most of Lorraine?s life was devoted to being a homemaker and pink was her favorite color. She was a communicant of Blessed John XXIII at Infant Jesus. A sister, Sylvia Moreau, predeceased Lorraine. Survivors include a daughter Judith and her husband Russ ?Rusty? Gagne of Nashua, two grandchildren and their significant others, Jason Gagne and Kimberly Hall of Middlebury, VT, Jennifer Gagne and Daniel Steagald of Nashua; her cat Ally, and one brother Raymond Landry, of Nashua. SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Interment will be held in St. Louis Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Donations in Lorraine?s loving memory may be made to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Rd., Nashua, NH 03064-8109. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME in Nashua is in charge of arrangements.
