Victoire Vasseur 2022 Posted on October 27, 2022 by dom VICKY?s OBITUARY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victorire (Vicky) Vasseur, October 22, 2022 at the Fairview Long Term Care. Vicky was born to Gerald and Yvette Gamache on August 25, 1933 in Fort Kent, Alberta. Being the second oldest of thirteen children, Vicky ofter shared fond memories of her childhood. On July 8th of 1959, Vicky married Edouard Vasseur, in Fort Kent. Together they welcomed seven children; Laurent, Sylvio, Denis, Yvette, Rene, Gerard (Gerry) and Dianne. In 1968, Ed and Vicky moved their family to Fairview, where they continued to raise their children. Around town, they would be famously known for Ed and Vicky?s Drive-in and catering business, Fairview would be where Ed and Vicky called home for the remainder of their lives. Vicky is survived by her children, Laurent Vasseur, Sylvio Vasseur (Kerry). Denis Vasseur, Yvette Lamache (Daniel), Rene Vasseur (Celine), Gerry Vasseur (Laura), Dianne Lund (Brent), twentynine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Siblings Eveline Lord, Raymonde Menard, Yvette Procinsky, Marie-Line Michard, Gerard Gamache. She is predeceased by her loving husband Edouard Vasseur, parents Gerard and Yvette Gamache. Siblings Candid Marcoux, Jeannine Normand, Denise Beaudoin, Agnes Bouchard, Laurence Fournier, Yvon Gamache, and Monique Gamache. Nièces Monique Bouchard, Raisse Gamache and Nephew George Normand. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church Wednesday November 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Friedenstal Cemetery.
