Theresa Annette Gamache Brooker

Theresa Annette Gamache Brooker, age 78, of Sarasota, Florida and formerly of Brunswick, died on October 10, 2018.
She was born in Brunswick on Oct. 28, 1939, the daughter of George Gamache and Noella (Menard) Gamache.
She graduated from St. John?s Catholic School and Brunswick High School, class of 1958. After high school she worked at Maine National Bank in Brunswick, then she moved to Northern Virginia to work as a Civil Service employee for the U.S. Navy Department in Washington, D.C.
In 1969 she married Herbert Denis Brooker in Arlington, Virginia. While living in Alexandria and Annadale, she earned an associate?s degree from Northern Virginia Community College. Theresa was a dedicated homemaker. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious giggle. She will be dearly missed by her family and close friends.
Theresa was pre-deceased by her parents, and brother-in-law William Rockwood Jr.
She is survived by sisters Priscilla O?Connell of Scarborough, Anne Labbe and brother-in-law Eugene Labbe of Brunswick, and Carmel Rockwood of Scarborough, nieces Carla Wright and Jennifer Labbe, nephews William Rockwood III and Scott Labbe, and several cousins. She is also survived by an aunt Lucille Caouette of Winslow.
A graveside service in St. John?s Cemetery will take place at a later date.
