William J. Letourneau, 90, returned to his Heavenly Father on Feb. 18, 2015.
Mr. Letourneau was a World War II Army veteran, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Upton Masonic Lodge of Cheshire, Mass., First Baptist Church of Adams, Mass., and Francis Baptist Church of Palatka. Mr. Letourneau is best remembered for his sense of humor, love of playing the harmonica, playing Bingo, and was an avid motorcyclist who drove from Florida to Nova Scotia and back at age 78 on his Honda Shadow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Joseph Letourneau; stepfather Harvey Coulombe, brother, Albert Letourneau, and four sisters, Ruth Bordeau, Mabel Keller, Doris Gamache and Jane Duprey.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 69 years, Evelyn; his children James (Susie) Letourneau, Glenn (Louise) Letourneau, Lori (David) Burke; grandchildren Kristin Letourneau, Scott Letourneau, Matthew Chouinard (Nora), Dustin Letourneau (Trisha), Brian Letourneau, Heather DiCarlo (Cody); great-granddaughter Sydney Felton; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Bellevue Cemetery in Adams, Mass.
