Deceased Name: Gamache, Lawrence A.
Gamache, Lawrence A., Jr.78 of St. Louis, MO until retiring to Florida passed away from bone cancer early Sun. on Nov. 9th, 2008. He served honorably in the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and returned to his employer Laclede Gas as a Draftsman and retired as Construction Expeditor after 41 years of service. He attended 8 years of night school at Washington University of St. Louis, MO on the G.I Bill for a Certification in Structural Design. He was a fond member of the ACBL Duplicate Bridge League, River Bend & Halifax. Golf Clubs, boating at the Lake of the Ozarks, managing and coaching soccer for CYC St. Sebastian school, CYC North City Gunners, NORCO Soccer, fundraising for Eastern Illinois University's Soccer program by holding the National Collegiate Indoor Soccer Tournaments for many years and had been a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Dellwood Lions. He and his wife Barbara (nee Drury) of 52 years moved to Ponce Inlet and later Ormond Beach, Florida 16 years ago. Aside from his wife, he is survived by his 6 children; Steven of Sullivan, MO, Ann Marie Brooks (Ken), Martin, Lawrence 3rd (Pam), Robert (Pam), Matthew (Joanne) all of St. Charles County, MO. His late parents Lawrence A. Sr. and Ann Gamache, his late brother John 'Jack' (Marilyn), sister Carol Trost (Walter), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted nephew George Bradley (Momi) of Oahu, Hawaii, sponsored son Albert Adade of Ghana, Africa and his beloved dog 'Aggie'.
