Sister Marguerite Gamache 1910 - 2008 At the Marguerite-Bourgeoys Reception, Friday, June 20, 2008, at the age of 98 years and 4 months, passed away Sister Marguerite Gamache, including 78 years of religious life at the Congregation of Notre-Dame . She was the daughter of the late Mr. Phidime Gamache and the late Mrs. Exilda Viel. She lived in Quebec. The family will receive condolences at Plateau Funeral Center 693, Nérée-Tremblay Avenue, Quebec on Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm, Monday, June 23, 2008 from 9 am to 10 am The religious service will be celebrated in the presence of the body on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 10:30, in the Church of the Most Holy Sacrament (1330, chemin Ste-Foy, Quebec). Interment will be at Notre-Dame-de-Belmont Cemetery on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11:00 am. In addition to her religious family, she will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces of the Gamache, Saindon and Bernier families, as well as the great nephews and nieces she was particularly fond of.
