  Doctor of Optometry Died: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. René Gamache, which occurred in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on December 22, 2025, peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 93. He was the husband of the late Michelle Lanoue. He leaves to mourn his daughters Isabelle and Sophia (Gabriel Hoffman), his granddaughter Coralie, his great-granddaughter Victoria, his brothers and sisters the late Gisèle, Gilles, the late Denis, André, Marie and Jean-Guy, as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The family will receive you at the LeSieur and Brother Funeral Complex: 95, Saint-Luc Blvd. in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, J2W 1E2, 450-359-0990, on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. followed by a celebration in the complex chapel.
