  [S5] Obituary. oland R. Brisson, 73, went home to be with Jesus on September 16, 2021. Roland and his wife, Cynthia T. Brisson, have lived in Southport, North Carolina for the past fifteen years and celebrated fifty-one years of marriage. Born in Manchester, NH, on March 11, 1948, he was the son of the late Emile and Emilienne (Gamache) Brisson. Roland graduated from Saint Anthony High School, Manchester, NH. He served with the Air National Guard. Roland was employed with New England Telephone Company as a lineman and with Ol Brockway as a mold maker and machinist. He was a member of Manchester Christian Church. Afterwards, he was a member of First Baptist Church, Leland, NC. Roland enjoyed reading, fishing, sightseeing, and tinkering. He used his talents to design and make new parts to fix anything that was broken. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He always enjoyed his family and wore a smile on his face. Roland enjoyed the gift of life with each day. Family members include two sons, Keith Brisson and his wife, Rachel, of Carbondale, CO and Brian Brisson and his wife, Sara, of Southport, NC; two granddaughters, Kyra and Emma Brisson; three brothers, Alfred Brisson and his wife, Susan, Paul Brisson and his wife, Carol, and Maurice Brisson and his wife, Elaine; and several nieces and nephews.
