Deceased Name: Eva M. Martineau
Eva M. (Talbot) Martineau, 90, of Westport, MA, formerly of Fall River, widow of Omer J.
Martineau, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
She taught kindergarten at St. Jean Baptiste School, Fall River, for 27 years, and was a hostess at the former Captain PJ's Seafood Galley, Somerset for several years.
She leaves, 4 children, Omer "Jay" Martineau and his wife Susan, and C. Z. Love craft, all of Westport, Suzanne A.
Gamache and her husband Dr.
Robert Gamache of Dunstable, MA, and Charles D. Martineau and his wife Janice of So.
Dartmouth, MA; 5 grandchildren, Adam Martineau and his wife Sara, Jussi Gamache and her husband Sean Drink water, Peter Gamache and his wife Meaghan Sinclair, Dami Elle Martineau, and Cole Martineau; a great-granddaughter, Jessie Martineau; siblings, Concorde "Connie" Costa, Anna Chlebek, and Lawrence "Bob" Talbot, all of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Cyrille and Odile (Lavoie) Talbot, and the sister of the late Lena Rounds, Irene Murphy, Juliette Fortier, and George, Charles, Albert, Cyril, Alcide, and Henry Talbot.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Westport, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Donations to Community Nurse and Hospice Care, 62 Center St., Fairhaven MA 02719, appreciated.
