Excerpted from the Blairmore Enterprise, December 3, 1925, Page 1, via the Peel Library of the University of Alberta website: LITTLE BLAIRMORE TOT DIES FROM INJURIES The sympathy of all goes out to Mr. and Mrs. E. Picard in the loss they are this week called upon to bear in the untimely death of their little daughter, Mary Agnes. The little girl had been playing on Sunday with other children on a small sheet of ice in front of her home and in some unaccountable manner slipped backward, her head coming into contact with the hard surface. She was immediately picked up by friends and conveyed into the house in an unconscious condition. Medical aid was summoned, but it was found that little, if any, hope could be entertained for the child's recovery, and without regaining consciousness the little girl passed away on Tuesday forenoon. Mary Agnes had almost reached her fourth birthday. Besides being the pet of the family, she was dearly loved by scores of children in the neighborhood. Funeral took place yesterday afternoon, from St. Anne's church, Rev. Father Cosman officiating....
